The cycle of works O, B, A, F, G, K, M (after the system developed by US astronomer Annie Jump Cannon) represents an investigation into cosmology that reflects the human desire to broaden our knowledge of the universe, coming up against the limits of systems for the measuring and recording of reality.

Spectroscopy data of stars and galaxies collected by the Italian National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF) were translated into three-dimensional digital models by the artist before being printed onto polymethylmethacrylate plates with various different perspective views.

Axonometric and orthogonal views of the spectra are presented with a background colour that corresponds to that of the stellar class of reference, providing information on their evolutionary age: from the youngest (blue) to those mid-cycle (yellow) to the oldest at the end of their life (red).
